The Tee Time Ladies of Tampa Florida hosted a Women’s Golf Day charity event supporting Played with Heart in Tampa, Florida. The donations collected at the event were donated locally to the First Tee of Tampa Bay. Tail Activewear outfitted the event with adorable red and white golf skirts! We are so grateful for the support of Tail Activewear and the Tee Time Ladies and their efforts to further the mission of Played with Heart.

Golf & Gala Luncheon

This Played with Heart initiative aims introduce more girls and women to the game and enable all girls access to “the country club experience." As a woman, golf is a valuable skill to have in addition to everything there is to be learned in a country club setting. As women, we have the power to positively influence the next generation and inspire the future of women’s golf! Through the Played with Heart Golf & Gala, we hope to create an experience to remember!

Participants: 25 women + sponsored youth (from the Boys and Girls Club of the Sandhills)

The Played with Heart Golf & Gala Luncheon equips young girls for their future through:

Played with Heart

Women’s Pro-Am

The Golf Club of Georgia hosted our first Played with Heart Pro-Am on March 9, 2021. This was a unique opportunity for GCOG members to play with lady touring professionals as they prepared for the upcoming season! This event raised money for Played with Heart in addition to the golf donations given by tour players. We are so grateful for everyone who came out to play in this event and support Played with Heart Inc. and look forward to hosting more Pro-Ams like this one!

Fore the Ladies- The Lily

Played with Heart was honored to be a part of such a special Fore the Ladies event at Pinehurst- The Lily, the first golf getaway tailored to women! It was such a fun weekend spending time on the course with an amazing group of women, many of whom were new to the game!

Fore the Ladies Inc. is a female based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to introduce more women to the game of golf. Fore the Ladies collects donations for Played with Heart at each event they host. We are so grateful for this partnership and we look forward to growing the game for the present and future of women’s golf together!

We always love working with like-minded people and organizations, so working with Fore the Ladies Founder, Abby Liebenthal, was so much fun! She is such an inspiration and has made a profound impact on women’s golf.

“Tee Time Ladies” Charity Golf

What a generous group of ladies… The “Tee Time Ladies” of Tampa, Florida took it upon themselves to host a charity event supporting Played with Heart Inc. Between their girls’ golf donations and monetary donations, these ladies gave so generously. We are so grateful for their support and thoughtfulness in organizing this event!

Symetra Four Winds Invitational

While I was in town playing the Symetra Tour in Indiana, I had the opportunity to give locally to the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf site right there in South Bend! I’m so grateful for this opportunity to PLAY + GIVE! It’s incredible to hear the ways this program is impacting the girls in this community through the game of golf. I’m excited that Played with Heart can play a part in outfitting this next generation of girls golf!

“We are so thankful for Emmy for reaching out. We have so many girls who don’t have ‘traditional’ golf clothes. This  is so wonderful. Since we can’t be there in person (no spectators are  being admitted), we’ll be cheering in spirit for Emmy this weekend.”

-Jenny Zimmerman, Girls Golf program director

IOA Golf Classic- Symetra Tour

Played with Heart collected donations from Symetra Tour players at the IOA Golf classic in Longwood, Florida in September 2020. These donations were given to the local LPGA*USGA Girls Golf site of Central Florida. Additional contributions of Rosemark Grips, a strong supporter of women’s golf, were also gifted to this program. The girls were SO excited to receive these donations from tour players at their first class of the season!

LPGA*USGA Girls Golf

In September 2019, Played with Heart partnered with LPGA*USGA Girls Golf which has allowed Played with Heart to impact the girls who participate in these nationwide programs. The LPGA collected donations from LPGA players in the locker room at the Volunteers of America Classic in Texas. This collection of donation items were gifted to the LPGA Girls Golf site of Naples, Florida.

Played with Heart periodically arranges to collect donations from tour players at both LPGA and Symetra Tour events. These special collections of donations are given to the local LPGA*USGA Girls Golf site in the area. What could be more inspiring to the next generation of girls golf than receiving gear from tour players?!
